Slap on your two-tones, hike up your skirt, take your twirl and boogie with the best of them as you steam up the dance floor to Swing Nouveau, the big band hep cats that are spreading the new gospel of cool with some of the hottest swing sounds around.

Milwaukee's premiere big band will swing your socks off with our aggressive jumpin' style. We play danceable, high-energy, jump & swing tunes of the 30's, 40's, 50's, & 90's. Solid rhythms combined with an awesome horn section guarantees that our music will get you jumpin' Jack!. And let me tell you, pumpkin, once all those horns get up to full throttle, it's hard to keep the roof on the joint!

We got together in 1997 with the goal of bringing the hip sounds of swing to audiences as it was intended to be heard, hot, live, and with all the power and energy it deserves. A true love of swing allows Swing Nouveau to perform with a taste, style and passion that few bands can match.

Our 15-piece "big band" has been drawing enthusiastic "standing room only" crowds at the top clubs throughout the Milwaukee area. Cats from all generations are showing up to cut a rug to the hot sounds of Swing Nouveau. With the band swinging, dancers jumping, and the audience decked out in vintage wear, the scene is hot, cool, and fun.
